I’m thinking about the impact AI has on my industry and what it means for my career. I feel very lucky to have found a job that I love and that gives my life (I am a journalist and author) a lot of meaning and fulfillment. So far I’ve been able to pay most of the bills, and most importantly, being able to use my brain in this way every day and feeling like my skills and human experience are somehow useful in the world feels invaluable.

But like other knowledge workers, I’m suddenly wondering whether I’ll soon no longer be suitable for this job, whether AI will be better equipped…
