Picking an AI chatbot online in November 2026 means choosing across a price spread that runs from $0 on every free plan to $500 a month for ChatGPT Pro 500, with Claude Pro sitting at $20 a month on monthly billing, according to Anthropic’s pricing page. Six months ago that spread looked simpler. Today each vendor ships a small family of models, a ladder of plans and a different rule for who gets the newest release.
