Cisco adds agentic firepower to Webex suite

Cisco is expanding agentic collaboration capabilities in Webex. The vendor is launching an updated Webex suite featuring proactive, multi-step agents, including AIs managed by Anthropic’s Claude model for deeper analysis, strategic recommendations and coordinated actions. Webex will also support OpenAI’s agentic offering, Dots, initially via a Model Context Protocol integration and later natively from the platform. The MCP version allows Webex content to be imported into OpenAI agents.
