Preorders opened in the US on October 7 at $2,599, with shipping from October 16, per Windows Central. The top configuration costs $5,899. UK and European buyers will wait longer, and early driver reports suggest that may not be a bad thing.

Microsoft offers an 18-core and a 20-core version, with 24GB to 128GB of shared memory and 512GB to 2TB of storage. We covered the chip itself in our RTX Spark explainer.
