SINGAPORE — U.S. chipmaker Broadcom and Japan’s Toppan Holdings opened Singapore’s first advanced chip substrate plant months ahead of schedule on Tuesday, as the Southeast Asian nation seeks to strengthen its role in the global artificial intelligence supply chain.
