After being unveiled at I/O 2026 last week, Google’s new agent AI tool Gemini Spark is now available in the US.
The search giant describes Spark as a “24/7 personal agent” capable of working on tasks in the background in Google Cloud, even when your computer or phone is turned off. It runs on Google’s Gemini Flash 3.5 model and is based on Google’s Antigravity platform.
The AI tool goes beyond Google Gemini’s sole offering as it can take actions on behalf of users. For example, it can book a flight or a hotel room. However, unlike other agent tools already on the market, it offers native integration with Google’s existing and widely used product suite.
For example, Spark could create an outreach target list for your company based on the emails saved in your Gmail account or the meetings saved in your Google Calendar. Or it could list and record the price differences between vendors when planning a wedding or a home renovation…
