After Nelson Peltz won a surprise bidding war for Janus Henderson, the activist investor can begin reshaping the $493 billion asset manager he has orbited for years.
Peltz is paying about $8 billion, or $52 per share, for Janus Henderson – more than double what the stock was trading for when his Trian Fund Management disclosed its position in late 2020.
