Perplexity has rolled out a new artificial intelligence feature designed to improve the accuracy and depth of responses on its platform by allowing users to compare answers from multiple AI models at the same time.

The feature, called Model Council, enables users to submit a single query to three different AI models simultaneously. The system then evaluates the responses and presents a consolidated view that highlights key insights, areas of agreement and points of divergence across the models.

As per reports, the company said the feature is aimed at addressing the growing issue of inconsistent outputs from AI systems. With different models often producing varied responses to the same complex question, users can be left uncertain about which answer to rely on, particularly in research-driven or high-stakes decision-making scenarios.

Perplexity informed that Model Council automates the process of cross-checking by allowing users to select three models within the platform and submit a single question. Each model generates an independent response, after which Perplexity’s built-in synthesiser analyses the outputs and compiles them into a structured table.

The summary format is designed to show where the models align, where their interpretations differ and to surface any unique insights offered by individual systems. Users also have the option to view each model’s full response separately if deeper examination is required.

According to reports, the company said the feature is…
