Michael Burry bets against Oracle. The investor, also known from the film The Big Short, has revealed pessimistic positions on the Larry Ellison-founded company following its recent expansion into artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. In a recent Substack post, Burry revealed that he holds put options on Oracle shares and has directly shorted the stock for the past six months. This comes after he announced bearish bets against AI chipmaker Nvidia and Palantir Technologies back in November. “I don’t like the positioning or the investments it’s making. It shouldn’t have had to do what it’s doing and I don’t know why it’s doing it.
