$9.7B DoW Deal: Dell Wins Major Microsoft Cloud And AI Contract For U.S. Military

The Department of War awarded a five-year contract for Microsoft enterprise software to Dell Federal Systems.

The Department of War reported the award of the Microsoft Department of War Enterprise Software Agreement II Core Enterprise Technology Agreement to Dell Federal Systems, L.P., of Round Rock, Texas. The blanket purchase agreement is valued at approximately $9.7 billion.

The agreement strengthens the department’s digital infrastructure and accelerates modernization efforts across the Joint Force by delivering enterprise-wide access to secure communications, collaboration, cloud and productivity technologies. It provides seamless access to Microsoft 365, advanced cloud subscriptions, and critical on-premises licensing capabilities. These technologies support secure connectivity required for Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control.
