Zillow Group Inc. defeated a proposed class action alleging it embedded code on its website that disclosed consumers’ personal and financial information to Microsoft Corp. and other third parties without consent.
Two of the named plaintiffs lacked standing to bring claims in federal court, and the other two failed to adequately plead claims of intrusion upon seclusion under Washington law or violations of the Washington Privacy Act, Judge James L. Robart said Wednesday.
