YOU Stock: Is Clear Secure at Risk of AI Obsolescence?

Clear Secure (YOU) is an identity solutions company that provides paid subscribers with seamless security checkpoints at 60 airports across the United States.

Its business-to-business security offerings are used by partners such as T-Mobile (TMUS), Uber (UBER), Oracle-owned insurance programs Oracle Health (ORCL) and Medicare (MCGS) for account opening, employee verification, Know Your Customer (KYC) scoring, customer check-in, fraud prevention and other biometric verification processes.

However, as the outlook for software companies becomes increasingly negative due to concerns about the advancement of coding capabilities through artificial intelligence (AI), Clear Secure’s business model is questionable, even though it is not a pure software company. In fact, YOU stock fell 3.3% on June 9 after Anthropic released its most advanced AI model, Claude Fable 5, to the public.
