Yarra Valley Water plans to use generative AI to predict failures in its water supply infrastructure to reduce the cost of its maintenance operations.
The water authority is currently working on a proof of concept for the new system, which could be operational as early as next year, according to cloud and development manager Murali Manohar Shunmugaraja.
