The backbone platform is unique in that it seamlessly integrates a handful of services into a central hub-like app and allows you to switch between games and services in an instant. in the our review of the Backbone One, we said, “It creates a seamless experience that blurs the lines between console and mobile gaming by creating a true ‘homescreen’ experience.”

Xbox also offers three months Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to those who have a Backbone One controller over the Backbone website for $ 99. This is a great deal for new subscribers looking to try the service or for current members looking for a great controller as it combines with existing subscriptions. Backbone can also be used directly via the Microsoft Storealthough the above deal does not apply.

Even though Xbox Cloud Gaming is now available for iOS, it’s still not available as a native app since Apple hasn’t changed its stance on third-party game streaming apps like Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. Instead, Xbox Cloud Gaming is available as a progressive web app through Safari.

Microsoft has been busy updating and expanding the Xbox Game Pass recently announced that Xbox Series X | S-exclusive titles will be brought to Xbox One consoles through Xbox Cloud Gaming in the near future.
