The founder and chief executive of Bloomsbury Publishing, responsible for blockbuster novelist Sarah J. Maas and literary heavyweights such as George Saunders, has suggested that AI is “likely to help creativity” – including by helping authors overcome writer’s block.
“AI gets them going, writes the first paragraph or the first chapter and gets them going again,” he said.
We asked five creative writing experts, including authors who have published memoirs, novels and short stories, for their opinions. Would you use AI to overcome writer’s block?
