Eric Jing’s mission is to get people to not just talk to chatbots, but use AI as an everyday companion to get their work done – all from one platform.
That platform is Genspark Super Agent from Mainfunc, the AI startup he co-founded with Kay Zhu in 2024 and has offices in Palo Alto, California in Singapore and Japan.
“We want our users to talk directly about the business outcome rather than with a chatbot. So this is a very different user experience,” Jing said, compared to LLMs, the large generative AI language models commonly used for writing, programming or problem solving.
With Genspark, users direct the digital agent to create slides or tables directly in natural language.
“If the outcome is a slide, speak directly to the slide. If the desired outcome is a spreadsheet, speak to the spreadsheet,” Jing said.
