Willie Mays, a legendary Hall of Fame baseball player, will be honored at Oracle Park by his family and the San Francisco Giants. Mays, who died on June 18 at 93, had an illustrious career starting in the Negro Leagues and later amassing impressive stats including 3,293 hits, 660 home runs, and 12 Gold Gloves in center field. An exhibit showcasing seldom-seen photographs, artifacts, and videos from Mays’ life will be available for viewing from noon to 4 p.m.

The gates to the stadium will open at 3 p.m. with free admission to the public. The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Bay Area and KNBR without any commercial interruptions.
