Oracle Corporation (ORCL)once best known for its dominance in enterprise databases, has transformed itself for the cloud era and beyond Artificial Intelligence (AI) I poured fuel on this transition. As demand for AI computing surged, Oracle’s cloud infrastructure became a key part of the ecosystem and once again attracted investor attention.
Oracle shares rose relentlessly through the first nine months of 2025, peaking in mid-September as optimism about AI-driven growth took hold. But after that powerful run, the tone changed. ORCL stock has given back a significant portion of those gains, suggesting that the market is beginning to reassess how much growth is already priced in and what it might cost to sustain it.
That’s exactly where Morgan Stanley is (MS) raises his flag. Oracle’s backlog appears undeniably enormous, providing rare long-term visibility that few companies can match. However, this transparency comes with high investment requirements.
