After the Overwatch 2 Reveal event, many fans were informed about what will happen with the beta, the release date and other important things. One of the biggest aspects of the new game will be the new champions, three of which are basically confirmed already.
The old beta gave players a chance to try out visit, the railgun carrier from Canada. However, the Junker Queen has also received a cinematic trailer, giving players a taste of the character’s backstory and some of her gear.
Junker Queen is getting two new trailers for her appearance in Overwatch 2
That squire queen The trailer showed her rise from the Wastelands and her accession to the throne from the Junker King. The heroine’s Australian accent was provided by none other than Australian-Sri Lankan actress Leah de Niese.
Fans might recognize de Niese as Abby In the twenties. She was also in other big shows like e.g house men and offspring.
Based on its theatrical trailer, it looks like Junker Queen has quite a backstory. Several times during the trailer, she gets flashbacks to her childhood surrounded by her family. This probably means they’re out of the picture.
There was also an Origin story trailer for the champions. This trailer was a little shorter, but it comes complete with an energetic punk rock theme song. The trailer shows the Junker Queen’s trials as she makes her mark in Junkertown, Australia.
While fans are getting a good idea of what weapons the Junker Queen will be using, her exact toolkit is still unknown at the moment. However, it is confirmed that it will fall under the tank category.
This will make it really difficult for teams to decide whether or not to use Junker Queen. Unlike the 6v6 the game is usually played in, Overwatch 2 got rid of the second tank slot. This means teams can’t run Junker Queen and Reinhardt or Junker Queen and Winston, they will be forced to choose one.
The official release date for surveillance 2 is October 4th. However, players can access the beta early by purchasing the Watchpoint Pack. This also comes with a Premium Battle Pass and other bonuses like new skins and a bundle of in-game currency.
