White House posts AI-style meme of convicted fentanyl dealer sobbing after ICE arrest

The White House deployed OpenAI’s latest image generator trend by sharing a Japanese-inspired meme on social media of an illegal migrant and convicted fentanyl dealer sobbing when she was nabbed by the feds earlier the month.

The image, posted on the White House’s X account Thursday, highlighted the March 12 arrest of Virginia Basora-Gonzalez — a 36-year-old Dominican-born drug dealer who was previously booted from the US for peddling fentanyl.
