What’s real and what’s not: AI reaches new heights as prices loom

As we scroll through our social media feeds, we now have to ask ourselves whether what we are seeing is real or artificial intelligence.

Whether it’s actor Will Smith eating spaghetti or playful bunnies on a trampoline – the line between fact and fiction is blurred.

Janet Moeller, an AI educator and founder of Teacher PA, says education is key to spotting a fake.

“They get so good it’s hard to tell,” she said.

As entertaining as AI can be, Moeller warns that AI also has a darker side.

“The FBI actually warns that if you go on vacation, post it on social media while you’re away,” she said.

“Because if someone has a clone of your voice, they can create a dangerous situation.”

Her advice is to wait and post your vacation videos once you get home.
