Investors sold the data center operator’s shares today after broader weakness in the technology sector overshadowed the announcement of the appointment of its new CEO.

According to the press release, the company has appointed Michael Juniper as CEO of DigiCo Infrastructure REIT and managing director of digital infrastructure HMC Capital Ltd (ASX: HMC), effective immediately.

The press release states that Juniper brings more than two decades of experience in digital infrastructure.

He was a founding member and deputy CEO of AirTrunk, where he helped build one of the leading hyperscale platforms in Asia Pacific. This includes expanding AirTrunk into key Asian markets such as Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, as well as partnering with the world’s largest cloud and technology company…
