Something extraordinary happened on Saturday: US lawmakers in Maryland moved to repeal the State Police Bill of Rights.

The repeal came as part of a major police reform package passed by Maryland lawmakers in recent weeks. Of the five bills that make up the whole package, all of which were passed in the Democrat-controlled General Assembly of the state, Republican Governor Larry Hogan vetoed three, including the police repealing the Bill of Rights.
