- A boycott called “Resist and Unsubscribe” targets major tech companies to protest U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.
- Companies on the boycott list include Amazon, Google, Apple, and Meta, as well as firms identified as “active enablers of ICE.”
- Participants are encouraged to unsubscribe from services, delete apps, and share their actions on social media.
As political tensions in the U.S. continue to fluctuate, some consumers are boycotting “big tech” in an attempt to get a message through to politicians.
The “Resist and Unsubscribe” boycott was begun by Scott Galloway with the intention of resisting ongoing Immigrations and Customs Enforcement operations, including controversial operations in Minnesota which sparked countrywide protests after federal agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens in January.
