Anthropic has ruled out releasing its latest AI model, Mythos, due to the threat it poses to global cybersecurity.
However, the US tech startup behind the Claude chatbot confirmed on Wednesday that it was investigating a report that a group of people had gained unauthorized access to Mythos. The alleged incident has raised concerns about the pace of development and the ability of tech companies to keep their riskiest products away from the public. What is myth?
Mythos is an AI model – the underlying technology that powers tools like chatbots – that Anthropic says poses a serious potential threat to any company’s cybersecurity.
