Westpac is rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot to its global workforce, completing one of the most significant Copilot implementations by an Australian company and the largest in financial services in Asia Pacific.
The move will give the bank’s 35,000 employees, contractors and service providers access to an AI assistant to speed up their work and support customers. It follows a successful Australian pilot with 15,000 employees last year, where Copilot helped improve business results and save time.
Speaking about the update, Westpac Chief Data, Digital and AI Officer Andrew McMullan said AI is a strategic enabler for the company.
