According to Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities, defense AI is a generational spending cycle with Palantir (PLTR) leading the way, while Oracle (ORCL) and Microsoft (MSFT) will adopt infrastructure and enterprise layers.
-
Palantir’s U.S. government revenue reached $570 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, up 66% year-over-year, while Oracle Cloud infrastructure revenue rose 84% year-over-year to $4.888 billion and Microsoft’s Azure grew 39% year-over-year, showing huge demand across the defense AI stack.
-
The defense AI spending is a structural budget line rather than a pilot program, enabling the three companies to conquer software, infrastructure and enterprise levels as geopolitical tensions drive new paradigms of military warfare.
