WARNING: Cisco Fixes Multiple Critical Vulnerabilities

Cisco has patched a serious command-injection vulnerability in the Integrated Management Controller used by some of its newest UCS rack servers, warning that a low-privileged authenticated attacker could exploit the weakness to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges.

Tracked as CVE-2026-20200, the vulnerability affects the web-based management interface of Cisco IMC, an out-of-band administration platform that operates independently of the server’s primary operating system. Cisco released fixes on August 5 as part of a wider security update covering IMC, IOS XE, Catalyst SD-WAN and several other products.
