VMware today announced a network and security package that combines SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), endpoint and workload protection, and device management technologies.
It’s called VMware Anywhere Workspace and is being developed by a growing number of technology and service providers who are developing a variant of SASE for connecting and securing remote workers that remain office and hybrid even after vaccination, distributed and hybrid with workers from the EU from home.
In particular, Anywhere Workspace combines three key VMware technologies. This includes Workspace One, which offers unified endpoint management as well as desktop and app virtualization. It also includes VMware Carbon Black Cloud for cloud-native endpoint and workload protection.
