The solution combines Workspace One, Carbon Black and the new VMware SASE offering.
VMware is the latest version that responds to the move to flexible working environments with the launch of their Anywhere Workspace. It was released on Tuesday and combines VMware’s Workspace One end-user computing (EUC), carbon black endpoint protection, and the new VMware SASE.
VMware developed Anyplace Workspace to give companies with newly distributed employees secure and reliable access. Like many IT vendors, VMware has found the move to remote and hybrid work environments to continue.
A VMware study found that 61% of the companies surveyed consider remote access by employees to be necessary. And 90% of them said employers need to give workers reliable access from any device, from any location. Shanker Iyer, SVP of VMware and general manager of end-user computing, said in a press conference last week that the company calls this “multimodal work.”
