A “Renaissance” field. This is how Stuart Lee, Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer of VMware, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP, describes the privacy profession. And it’s a particularly “modern” time, said the multi-cloud service provider’s global privacy operations leader.

“We can interpret new and exciting technologies and policies in a way that they can really create meaningful change for our business and our stakeholders, and the challenge is being able to think about how to do that in a global organization, where the rapid pace of change continues,” he said. “Well, it’s a double-edged sword.”
