Stated-owned Viettel Group lined up Korean operator KT to support its AI transformation in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, a deal valued at KRW130 billion ($94.5 million).
As part of a strategy partnership, the pair will establish a joint venture to accelerate the adoption of AI technology across the region and jointly build an AI-dedicated data centre and GPU farm to boost Vietnam’s AI and cloud infrastructure resources.
