A veteran of technology in the private and public sectors has been named the state’s new deputy chief information security officer (CISO).
John Cleveland last served as Chief of Security Operations for the California Department of Technology (CDT) prior to his promotion this month. Panych was acting CISO for two years before his appointment became permanent in January. The alternate position had remained vacant until Cleveland’s appointment that month.
