Verizon is rapidly deploying more than 8,000 VRAN cell sites


NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Verizon, the leader in Virtualized Radio Access Network (VRAN) innovation, has now deployed over 8,000 virtualized cellular sites with a goal of deploying over 20,000 by the end of 2025. This technology milestone allows Verizon to quickly respond to customers’ varying latency and compute needs and provides greater flexibility and agility when introducing new products and services.
