A week of voting in Round 1 of the 2021 CRN Channel Madness Tournament of Chiefs has come to an end, and the winners are celebrating in the locker rooms.

While many channel bosses came out strong to take the lead early, some contests got hooked. Here you can see the results of the first round and who moves on to solutions 16.

Two closely watched matchups took place in the Cloud region, where 2020 Channel Madness Champion Kevin Rooney from Veeam fought VMware Sandy Hogan. But a late climb brought Rooney the win with 56 percent of the vote to Hogan’s 44 percent, so Rooney’s quest to defend his crown continues into Round 2.

Nextiva is now Eric Martorano took an impressive win from behind and brought 58 percent of the vote in his fight Doug Yeum from Amazon Web Services, which achieved 42 percent.
