vCore: Virtualized Q-SYS control processing is now available

Q-SYS, based in Costa Mesa, California, announced the availability of Q-SYS vCore, the first virtualized processor for Q-SYS and its associated Q-SYS Control Feature License for vCore. This allows integrators and end users to collaborate with their own computing devices to add Q-SYS Control capabilities to systems for enhanced control, automation, UX capabilities, remote monitoring, and helpdesk capabilities.

The Q-SYS vCore / Q-SYS Control feature license is ideal for simple AV systems that do not require dedicated Q-SYS audio or video functionality. It is also suitable for functions already fulfilled with standalone hardware, legacy audio-only DSPs, and those that need to replace outdated control systems. Additionally, it creates a bridge for those less complex spaces that typically have disparate hardware to enable cloud-based remote monitoring and management capabilities Q-SYS Reflect Enterprise Manager.
