The USF Bulls football team has seen a significant increase in commitments for their 2025 recruiting class, with 21 pledges as of last Friday. This ranks them tied for sixth in the nation. Despite roughly half of the class not yet having an On3 industry ranking, the Bulls are currently ranked first in the AAC in the 2025 industry classification football team recruiting rankings. Upon receiving rankings this summer, they are expected to move into the top 60 in the overall national rankings.

One of the recent additions to the Bulls’ recruiting class is wide receiver Kory Pettigrew from Perry High in Georgia. He committed to USF after an official visit and had interest from several other colleges. Another standout recruit is linebacker DeAngelo Bowden from Washington, DC, who impressed the coaching staff during his visit and ultimately committed to USF.

Jermichael Gillis, a safety from Lakeland High in Florida, also committed to USF, adding depth to the team’s defensive lineup. Other notable commitments include Tywan Cox, a cornerback from Miami Northwestern, and Jayden Fry, a pass rusher from Rolesville in North Carolina. The Bulls have also secured commitments from other talented players like Antavious Richardson, Brandon Kubay, Sean Poret, and Bruno Reus.

Despite their successes, the Bulls did experience some setbacks with recruit Dillano Glaud choosing to commit to Liberty over USF. Additionally, the recruitment of Carl Jenkins Jr. from St. Augustine High and Christian Neptune from Cantonment is still ongoing, with both players visiting USF last weekend.

Overall, the Bulls continue to make strides in recruiting and are poised to add more talented players to their roster in the near future. Their commitment to building a strong team for the future is evident in their recent recruiting successes and their determination to secure top prospects for the 2025 season.
