Redditor Reports His Best Ever Scores With RTX 5080 Using the Latest NVIDIA Hotfix Driver 595.76; Others Confirm the Same
After re-releasing the new Hotfix driver 595.76, some users are now reporting better performance on their GeForce RTX 50 series cards. Just a few days ago, NVIDIA rolled out the Hotfix driver 595.71, which reportedly fixed the performance issues in Resident Evil: Requiem; however, the driver also introduced some bugs related to core voltage. We found it limiting the voltage on the RTX 50 cards, due to which our RTX 5090 was operating at a sub-3 GHz clock.
Many users complained about the same, but then NVIDIA released the newer driver 595.76, which fixed the issue. Some users are now reporting improved performance on the newer driver vs the previous driver, and the uplifts are looking quite impressive. The Redditor u/CoffeeStock8536 reported he broke all his previous records on 3DMark Time Spy with the latest driver and achieved 35,853 points.
He reportedly achieved it using the ASUS PRIME RTX 5080, which is now performing well in both synthetic and gaming workloads. The Steel Nomad benchmark helped him achieve 99.72 FPS, and as per his comments on the thread, he was previously getting 92.23 FPS. So, this is a solid 7% performance boost with a simple driver upgrade.
Yeah this my daily…
