US Secures Historic Victory Against Pakistan with the Help of Oracle Engineer

On Thursday, Team USA achieved a surprising victory over Pakistan in the T20 Cricket World Cup, with Oracle’s chief engineer, Saurabh Netravalkar, playing a key role in the win. Netravalkar, who works at Oracle as a senior member of the technical team, showcased his cricketing skills as a left-arm fast bowler for the US team. Born in Mumbai in 1991, he honed his cricket skills in India before joining the US team in 2018. Alongside his athletic achievements, Netravalkar has climbed the ranks at Oracle since joining in 2016, earning promotions to senior member in 2018 and 2022. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. Despite his busy schedule, Netravalkar did not provide a comment for Business Insider’s request for more information.
