The director of the National Security Agency (NSA), General Paul Nakasone, has revealed that the US military is interfering in the fight against ransomware. According to the New York Times report, General Nakone said the military has joined federal agencies to step up the fight against cybercrime as it grows in the country.

The US military’s focus is on eradicating the threat actors plaguing the country by using their data and intelligence against them to steal money and threaten the victims of this crime.

Cyber ​​crime is rampant in the country

The online world today is a critical infrastructure and noisy CNET, Nakone said it is now learning about these threat actors and cyber criminals to know how they operate and what they are. The increasing presence of cybercrime is something to be careful about, especially now that people have grappled with the transition to digital platforms and options, doing everything online and on computers. The combined efforts of the U.S. military with other government agencies are of massive help, something that would help with this massive ransomware problem.
