HPE’s planned acquisition of Juniper Networks worth $14 billion is being investigated by the UK’s competition authority to determine if it will reduce competition in the UK market. The investigation will last until August 14, with a decision on moving to a second phase expected then. HPE announced in January that it would acquire Juniper for $40 per share in cash.
