On a cold Tuesday evening this month, about 200 Missourians crowded into a Methodist church to deliver a message: The AI revolution that greeted Donald Trump’s White House did not have their full support.
“I voted for this administration and didn’t really think about (AI) until it started influencing me,” said Lisa Garrett, who lives next to the site of a $6.6 billion ($9.3 billion), 162-acre data center project in the satellite city of Independence, east of Kansas City.
