US President Donald Trump has announced that he will sign an executive order to create a “single rulebook” for the development of artificial intelligence (AI).

Monday’s announcement via Trump’s Truth Social account marked the U.S. president’s latest attempt to address AI barriers, a priority of his administration that has raised concerns about oversight of the transformative technology.
