The Azure Maps team has announced that the native SDK for Android and iOS will be retired on March 31, 2025. Users are encouraged to transition to using the Azure Maps Web SDK in a web view before the retirement date. The Web SDK Map Control version 3 offers several improvements and users can continue using the native SDK for Android and iOS until 31 March 2025 without interruptions. However, after this date, workloads running the native SDK will be deleted and all associated application data will be lost.

To assist users in their migration process, resources and instructions can be found on the Microsoft Azure Maps website. It is important to take action to avoid interruptions in service before March 31, 2025. Users can also seek help and support from community experts on Microsoft Questions and Answers platform or create a support request if they have a support plan and need technical assistance.
