The retraining of workers is more urgent than ever. The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated digital transformation in all companies, creating technology skills gaps in areas such as automation, artificial intelligence and cloud computing. It is more difficult for companies to find workers with such skills.

Demand for cloud computing in particular is exponential, driven by the accelerated migration in the wake of the pandemic. In fact, a recent survey commissioned by Alibaba Cloud found that more and more Filipino companies are turning to cloud-based technology solutions to cope with the new conditions, with more than half (51 percent) saying they have adopted them.
