A town hall to discuss the massive 900-acre Microsoft data center coming to Granger is being held on Wednesday evening.

The Data Center was approved by St. Joe County in May of last year and will be built near Capital Avenue and Cleveland Road.

The meeting hasn’t started yet, but people are already here packing the library to learn more about the potential impacts the Microsoft Data Center will bring.

The project was originally approved last year, and the data center will be built on the former St. Joe Farm site near Capital and Cleveland.

One of the panelists is Bill Schalliol, who oversees Economic Development in St. Joe County. He will be sharing information about power costs, water usage, traffic, environmental concerns, and economic development agreements that the project could bring to the Granger community.
