The massive cargo ship Ever Given was stuck in the Suez Canal for almost a weekto keep the internet hooked and frustrate the teams responsible for the relocation and the governments hardest hit by the closure of the sea trade route.
The ship (and its Evergreen trademark painted on the side) has become so iconic, in fact, that it has become a target within the ship Microsoft Flight Simulator, at least for a virtual pilot who appears to have created a mod that places the grounded ship within the game’s virtual earth, over GeekWire.
Twitter user Mat Velloso shared a video from TikTok. originally collected and uploaded by donut_enforcement user. Show the cargo ship’s flyby to a compelling-sounding pilot’s narrative as the boat stuck between the banks of the canal. The scene looks shockingly realistic, which is testament to the quality of the mod and even just the sophisticated graphics of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Of course, nothing is stopping developer Asobo from updating the game with newer satellite imagery to include the ship for all players – there is many such photos has been taken in the past six days. Considering that the game gets its images from Bing Maps and is not always updated in a timely manner, it means that your game will not have the Ever Given unless you can modify it like in the video above.
There are currently No specific timetable for the liberation of the ship from its unfortunately angled position, it is certainly possible.
