The war for AI talent is expanding into banking with jobs worth over $250,000

In a year when artificial intelligence has dominated workplace conversations — and tech firms Meta and OpenAI have spent millions of dollars poaching researchers and engineers from rivals — recruiters say AI positions are among the highest-paying in the corporate sector.

Matthew Munson, managing director of Talent International in Sydney, says next year’s high salaries will likely be in AI as he predicts more high-tech jobs will move overseas.
