The benefits of the cloud are obvious, which is why so many companies use platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to simplify web applications. Benefits such as scalability, storage, and operational efficiency are driving companies to move more applications and workflows to the cloud. What organizations may not realize, however, is that they cannot outsource security concerns just because they are offloading critical infrastructure to the cloud.
