Following the launch at I/O 2022, Google confirmed which countries the Pixel 6a will be available in and at what price.

Similar to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Google is focusing on a few key markets with the launch of the affordable Android smartphone. However, the release of the Pixel 6a will be staggered, with the US and Japan available to pre-order from July 21.

No details have been shared on when other global regions will be able to pre-order the device, but we expect the Pixel 6a to be available in around 14 countries. That’s an increase over the Pixel 6 series, how India will see the tensor-powered smartphoneThis makes it the first Pixel device to come to the region in an official capacity since 2020.

While pre-orders and open sales aren’t available yet, Google Store listings for the Pixel 6a are live in the following countries and regions, with pre-order pricing and colorways currently visible:

You may notice that Indian storefront listings are not yet visible, but this suggests that India will be added once pricing is finalized in the coming weeks. It could also mean some brick-and-mortar stores or a partnership with an Indian retailer to encourage the middle class.

Google has offered the Pixel 6a at fairly competitive prices in all countries where it is sold. But with a far wider range of solid mid-rangers from Xiaomi, Poco, Realme, and Oppo in many global markets, it remains to be seen how well the 6a will fare.
